2. The service
Lociplace is software for building Memory Palaces, organizing ordered Loci, creating scenes and Memory Items, and running active recall Practice and scheduled Review. The current product is a focused memory system, not a generic course platform, medical service, regulated education provider, or guarantee of exam or learning outcomes.
Public pricing and billing are not active in the current MVP unless a separate paid offer is explicitly presented to you. If paid plans are introduced, additional terms may apply before purchase.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use the private app experience. You must keep sign-in details accurate, protect your credentials, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized account access. You may not access another person's account or attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls.
If you use a third-party sign-in provider such as Google OAuth, that provider's own terms and privacy information also apply to the provider side of the sign-in flow.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the Palace structures, rooms, Loci, route order, scenes, Memory Items, notes, images, Practice results, Review state, and other content you add to Lociplace. You grant Lociplace the limited rights needed to host, store, process, display, back up, secure, and transmit that content so the service can work.
You are responsible for the content you add and for having the rights needed to upload or store it. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, or privacy-invasive material.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lociplace to:
- break the law or violate third-party rights;
- upload malicious code, illegal content, or infringing material;
- scrape, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service;
- circumvent account, security, usage, or access controls;
- misrepresent your identity or interfere with other users.
6. Availability and changes
Lociplace is an evolving product. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product improves. We aim to preserve the core workflow around Palaces, Loci, scenes, Memory Items, Practice, and Review, but no feature is promised to remain unchanged.
We work to keep Lociplace reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure issues, security work, or product changes. You should not use Lociplace as the only copy of irreplaceable study, professional, legal, or personal material.
7. Warranty and liability
Lociplace is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free software, data availability in every situation, or suitability for every memory technique, study use case, exam, or professional purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lociplace is not liable for indirect damages, lost data, lost profits, lost learning outcomes, or consequences of using the service as your only record. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
8. Law, deletion, and contact
These terms are governed by Austrian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence. Competent courts and authorities remain determined by applicable law.
You may request account deletion through the product where available or by emailing rothmike1997@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
